Grapes are one of the oldest cultivated fruit types on Earth. Their history dates back to 5000 BC. Their homeland is the region known as Asia Minor, which includes Anatolia and the Caucasus. Compared to other fruits, it is one of the species with the most varieties. It is estimated that there are over 10,000 grape varieties. Over 1200 of these varieties originate from Anatolia. Of these, 50-60 are commercially produced. Berries are between 12-18 mm.

The cherry tree (Prunus avium) is a fruit tree belonging to the Rosaceae family, naturally found in the South Caucasus, the Caspian Sea region, and Northeast Anatolia. This tree, which can grow up to approximately 15 meters tall, has a pyramidal crown, elongated oval leaves with serrated edges, and white flowers that grow in clusters of several together. Its spherical or heart-shaped fruits, averaging 2 cm in diameter, have thin skin, are sweet and juicy, and contain a single seed.
